Chef Angie is very people friendly and she is an amazing chef. I communicated with her through whatsapp and gave her a budget to curate a menu for a birthday lunch. We were very happy with the menu and enjoyed it. Too bad that i could not try her signature pate as most of us in the group does not eat pate. The garlic prawns were delicious and our favorite as well as the porcini ravioli with truffle cream. We also had a small butternut squash which we wish were a bigger portion. Service is good too. The restaurant is a bit difficult to find but Angie was really helpful in sending us proper directions.

Angie's private kitchen is truly outstanding. Angie, a genuinely down-to-earth and kind individual, goes beyond being a skilled chef – she's a true inspiration. Infusing her cooking with love, she sets herself apart with remarkably reasonable pricing, making it budget-friendly. The quality of her food surpasses many top fine dining. Angie is committed to using top-notch ingredients, ensuring everything is fresh and alleviating any concerns. While location might be a concern for some, perfection varies for everyone. As long as you appreciate the effort, the experience is undoubtedly worthwhile.

Edit: This was a review of the restaurant when Chef Angie was in charge. The quality may have changed since her departure so dine at your own discretion. Perhaps one of the most delightful and delectable restaurant I’ve ever been to in Malaysia. The food and wines were scrumptious, so full of flavours and impeccably presented. The pate was mind-blowing and unexpectedly sublime, definitely the creme dela crème of the restaurant. However, I would posit that Chef Angie is the highlight and the star of the restaurant. Her infectious energy, personality and aura makes dining here a stellar experience. She was also generous to provide me the pate as a takeaway gift. All in all, a truly marvellous restaurant with an equally excellent chef.

What an amazing discovery. Angie cooks for you as if you were sitting in her kitchen, sharing stories, asking what works for you, and serving up the most delicious food I’ve tasted in a long time. The duck was perfection! And the desserts were beautiful. Such a treat!

First time eating at TIFA and it was such a lovely experience. The food was amazingly delicious - prawns and escargot to start, followed by the ever popular chicken pot pie and carbonara with smoked duck - YUM! The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, and made even more homey by the staff as well as Angie, who took the time - between cooking up a storm - to chat to get to know us. It made for an even more fulfilling experience.
